THE CANONS

The canons come with a slight background, a full name, a face claim, and a race. Their classes and personalities are entirely up to you so long as they remain in character! For instance, the corrupt king wouldn't be kind or gentle. Should you wish to change their face claims, names, or their races, PM an admin and we'll see what we can do!

THE ROYAL FAMILY

KING BARTHOLOMEW BENNETT THE THIRD
user posted image
The Corrupt King. Katerian. Seventy. Anthony Hopkins.

King Bartholomew has been ruling since the very tender age of twenty. He's seen many things, done many things, and has changed from a once gentle, graceful leader to one who only wants power and gold. Now he's corrupt; he sees poverty in the streets yet he ignores it. He deals with Onyx Lamia on a regular basis and has his own special group of guards that he calls the Faceless Ones. He seems to have his own particular brand of evil, one that his own family has adopted, so it comes as no surprise that he's hated or feared by the majority of Kateria.

He is married to Queen Celeste Bennett and they have three children: Willoh Jeane Bennett, whom he isn't close to and sent off to the Scholars of Kateria, Roswell Andre Bennett, and Cecilia Levine Bennett, both of whom he loves dearly. He frequently comes into contact with members of the Katerian Legion, as they are his guards, and is on a first-name basis with any member of The Faceless Ones. He also knows the leaders of Onyx Lamia, as he has his hands in their work, as well.

QUEEN CELESTE BENNETT

The Corrupt Queen. Katerian. Fifty-Three. Helena Bonham Carter.

Queen Celeste wasn't originally royalty; in fact, before she met Bartholomew, she was a mere servant under his father. As a royal handmaiden, she came into contact with Bartholomew a lot and, as it were, she fell in love with him when she was fifteen. Those feelings were reciprocated by the young prince and, on his twentieth birthday, he asked her to be his queen. Eager and ready, she accepted. She was always a bit of a strange one, though; she seemingly lacked the moral compass that Bartholomew had and, as his persona shifted into a rather corrupt one, she followed suite. Now she watches by his side as his country dwindles and doesn't seem phased at all.

She is married to King Bartholomew Bennett and they have three children: Willoh Jeane Bennett, whom she isn't close to and sent off to the Scholars of Kateria, Roswell Andre Bennett, and Cecilia Levine Bennett, both of whom she loves dearly. She frequently comes into contact with members of the Katerian Legion, as they are her guards, and is on a first-name basis with any member of The Faceless Ones. She also knows the leaders of Onyx Lamia, though she doesn't know them as well as Batholomew does, admittedly, so they barely listen to her at all.

PRINCE ROSWELL ANDRE BENNETT

The Corrupt Prince. Katerian. Thirty. Hayden Christensen.

Prince Roswell didn't need convincing to go to the dark side. Roswell has always been a wild child, truth be told. He took up interest in Onyx Lamia at a very young age, even before his father started working for them, and had always desired to join them. It took him several years, too, but eventually he did just that. His first murder was simple enough, it seemed. In a smaller village, there was a couple that hadn't paid a debt. Their contract was small, but he took it and completed it regardless, despite being a mere fifteen. Ever since, he's been his father's messenger; whenever he needs to see Onyx, he asks Roswell, and vice versa.

He is the son of King Bartholomew Bennett and Queen Celeste Bennett. He has two other sisters, Willoh Jeane Bennett, whom he hates, and Cecilia Levine Bennett, whom he has a rivalry with.He frequently comes into contact with members of the Katerian Legion, as they are his guards, and is on a first-name basis with any member of The Faceless Ones. He also knows the leaders and members of Onyx Lamia as he is a member as well. He has also met Meloda Sirius and Molinda Cadence several times, and he hates them both greatly.

PRINCESS CECILIA LEVINE BENNETT
user posted image
The Corrupt Princess. Katerian. Twenty-Eight. Ali Larter.

Princess Cecilia, or Cici, is admittedly the family favorite. Despite being younger than Roswell, she is next in line for the throne which is a luxury that she dangles over her older brothers head every day. She, too, is quite corrupt, as it is the way of life in her mind, especially if she plans to rule the country. There is a slight problem, however; she has fallen head over heels in love with a certain vampire, who just so happens to be a part of the Returners, the faction that plans to overthrow her very family.

She is the daughter of King Bartholomew Bennett and Queen Celeste Bennett. She has a sister, Willoh Jeane Bennett, whom she hates and resents, and a brother, Roswell Andre Bennett, whom she has a rivalry with. She frequently comes into contact with members of the Katerian Legion, as they are her guards, and is on a first-name basis with any member of The Faceless Ones. She also knows a few of Onyx Lamia, though she doesn't associate with them as much as her family does. She is in love with Ulric Benedict, a vampire and member of the Returners. As such, she hates Adelaide Benedict and Meloda Sirius and has every intention to kill them.

PRINCESS WILLOH JEANE BENNETT
user posted image
The Innocent Princess. Katerian. Twenty-Three. Kristen Bell.

Princess Willoh is the only member of the royal family that isn't corrupt. In fact, she seems oblivious to the rather dastardly happenings around her. How could she not, though? She was kept in close quarters and hidden away from the outside world for her entire life, or at least until she was sent off. Her parents tried to show her their way of life, sure, but she never really seemed accepting of it. They grew frustrated, annoyed, as did her siblings, and eventually they had all they could take. When she turned twenty-one, she stumbled across something that she wasn't meant to find, and the very next day they sent her off to Scholars of Kateria where she would hopefully keep her mouth shut.

She is the daughter of King Bartholomew Bennett and Queen Celeste Bennett. She has a sister, Cecilia Levine Bennett, whom she adored and a brother, Roswell Andre Bennett, whom she looked up to. She frequently came into contact with members of the Katerian Legion, as they were her guards, though she knew nothing of Onyx Lamia and the Faceless Ones. Now that she attends Scholars of Kateria, she knows most of the students, teachers, and deans and has close ties to Gabriel Althalos, Thea and Theo Montfort, and Avery Aldebaran.

THE RETURNERS

MOLINDA AMALTHEA CADENCE
user posted image
Co-leader of the Returners. Light Elf. Twenty-Eight. Maggie Grace.

Molinda, or Molly, formed the Returners when she was just eighteen years old. After watching the family of her friend, Meloda Sirius, die in a tragic, royalty-related death, she has been on a mission to end the corruption that is the government, though it took her years and years to gather up enough people to do just that. Now she leads the rebellion with her head held high and vengeance in her heart. She acts first and thinks later and, as such, has gotten herself into quite a lot of trouble. She doesn't hesitate to kill anyone she thinks is corrupt, though, which leads her moral compass to be nearly as skewed as the royal family's.

As the leader of The Returners, she knows all of its members. She has close ties to Meloda Sirius, who is like a sister to her, Ulric Benedict, who is like a brother to her, his wife Adelaide Benedict, his brother, Edmund Benedict, and Tybalt Rowntree, her father figure. She has also crossed paths with Roswell Bennett and Cecilia Bennett, though she has never met any of the other royal family members.

MELODA ROSE SIRIUS

Co-leader of the Returners. Katerian. Twenty-Five. Shiri Appleby.

Meloda Sirius, or Melli, is the co-leader of the Returners. Her motto is take from the rich and give to the poor. Essentially, she is your Katerian Robin Hood. It was her family's death that caused the start of the Returners, though she isn't nearly as violent nor as hate-filled as Molly is. She oftentimes tries to be the voice of reason, but don't get it twisted; when something gets under her skin, she can act just as irrationally as her co-leader can. She has a good heart, though, that much is obvious.

As the leader of The Returners, she knows all of its members. She has close ties to Molinda Cadence, who is like a sister to her, Ulric Benedict, who is like a brother to her, his wife Adelaide Benedict, his brother, Edmund Benedict, and Tybalt Rowntree, her father figure. She has also crossed paths with Roswell Bennett and Cecilia Bennett, though she has never met any of the other royal family members. She also has two brothers, Norman Sirius and Maximillion Sirius.

SIR TYBALT JAMES ROWNTREE

Final Say of the Returners. Gigas. Sixty-five. Harrison Ford.

Tybalt is the technical leader of the Returners, so to speak. He's the brains of the operation. What he says goes, and ultimately he gets the final say in anything and everything that happens. He rarely leaves the Returners headquarters, however, because of his age. Once upon a time, Tybalt was a high ranking member of the Katerian Legion, though once he figured out what was really going on behind the scenes, he left immediately. He eventually wandered across Molinda and Meloda and, with their help, they formed the Returners. Now he treats all of its members like his own family.

As a leader of The Returners, he knows all of its members. He has close ties to Molinda Cadence and Meloda Sirius, who are like a daughters to him, Ulric Benedict, who is like a son to him, his wife Adelaide Benedict, and his brother, Edmund Benedict. He still has ties to some members of the Katerian Legion, and he has crossed paths with Queen Celeste, Prince Roswell, Princess Cecilia, and King Bartholomew. Back in his days of service, he also taught Princess Willoh.

ULRIC GREGORY BENEDICT
user posted image
Member of the Returners. Vampire. Ageless. Ben Barnes.

Ulric wasn't always a vampire, as vampires usually aren't. In fact, once upon a time, he had a relatively normal life. At his time of change, he was merely twenty-two years old, married, happy, and setting off to become a blacksmith's apprentice. Along the way, he was caught in the middle of an assassination contract and, in the end, he got tangled into the wrong end of the fight. One of the members of the contract bit him in an attempt to kill him and, right before he passed out, mentioned something about the royal family. Ever since, Ulric has had a thirst for blood, but not just any type. Vengeance runs strong with this one; he wants to wreck havoc on the royal family for what he's become.

As a member of The Returners, he knows all of its members. He has close ties to Molinda Cadence and Meloda Sirius, who are like a sisters to him, his wife Adelaide Benedict, and his brother, Edmund Benedict, and Tybalt Rowntree, who has become like a father to him. He is the object of Princess Cecilia's affections and he has met her several times, though he despises her greatly. He has also come in contact, accidentally, with a few members of Onyx Lamia.

ADELAIDE BEATRIX BENEDICT
user posted image
Member of the Returners. Therianthrope. Twenty-Four. Zoe Saldana.

Adelaide grew up in a normal home. She wasn't rich but she wasn't poor, either. Her parents were loving, careful, and sweet, even til their death. She moved away at the age of eighteen and shortly afterwards she met and fell in love with Ulric, her still-husband to this day. Even after his change, she still loved him, though she grew just as vengeful and hateful as he was, admittedly. They both joined the Returners in a fit of anger and soon grew to love the members just like their own family.

As a member of The Returners, she knows all of its members. She has close ties to Molinda Cadence and Meloda Sirius, who are like a sisters to her, her husband Ulric Benedict, his brother, Edmund Benedict, and Tybalt Rowntree, who has become like a father to her. She has several ties in the Shadow Council, as her father was formally a thief.

EDMUND WILLIAM BENEDICT
user posted image
Member of the Returners. Katerian. Twenty-One. Garrett Hedlund.

Edmund never really wanted to rebel. Honestly, it was hard to miss the corruption of the royal family, but it was always easy to turn a blind eye. It never really affected him, after all, so he never really bothered with it. It wasn't until his brother came to visit one night, eyes dark and canines sharp, that he realized what needed to be done. The government didn't care about them; causalities were ignored or even scoffed at, and while that didn't seem like a problem before, it became much realer when his family was involved. It didn't Ulric much to convince Edmund to join the Returners, and he's been with them ever since.

As a member of The Returners, he knows all of its members. He has close ties to Molinda Cadence and Meloda Sirius, who are like a sisters to him, his brother Ulric Benedict, his wife, Adelaide Benedict, and Tybalt Rowntree, who has become like a father to him.

THE FACELESS ONES

FRANCIS DRAKE WALTER
user posted image
Leader of the Faceless Ones. Vampire. Ageless. Hugh Laurie.

Francis has always, always been interested in the royal family. Before they began to shift into darker methods, he watched from afar. Slowly, but surely, he noticed a change, a grand change, and eventually he snaked his way in. It didn't take much to convince King Bartholomew that he needed a secret service and it took even less to prove to him that he would make a great leader. Of course, Francis has always had ulterior motives; eventually he wants to rule Kateria and he has plans to do just that. He's just waiting for the right moment.

As the leader of The Faceless Ones, Francis knows the King, the Queen, Princess Cecilia, and Prince Roswell. He also knows all of the Faceless Ones by name, as there aren't many of them. He used to be a member of Onyx Lamia as well, so he still has connections there, too. He is also the vampire that changed Ulric Benedict, though he hardly remembers him. He also hates Letholdus Grace, as he believes that he's trying to overthrow his leadership, and he babies Esme Isolde just a little.

LEOTHOLDUS PETER GRACE
user posted image
Member of the Faceless Ones. Kappa. One-hundred. Christian Bale.

Leotholdus has been around for quite some time, much like Francis. He's also head interest in the royal family for a while as well, though he was just a little too late, it seems. Of course, he had similar plans to Francis, but since Francis arrived first, he resolved to joining the Faceless Ones for the time being. That never stopped him from concocting plans to overthrow the now-leader, however; in fact, to this day he's still trying to find a way to kill the unkillable.

As the member of The Faceless Ones, Leotholdus knows the King, the Queen, Princess Cecilia, and Prince Roswell. He also knows all of the Faceless Ones by name, as there aren't many of them. He used to be a member of the Shadow Council as well, so he still has connections there, too. He also hates Francis Drake and plans to overthrow him. As far as Esme Isolde goes, he's pretty jealous of her.

ESME NICOLA ISOLDE
user posted image
Member of the Faceless Ones. Dark Elf. Ninety-eight. Winona Ryder.

Esme has always been around. For the longest time, she was Bartholomew's court magician. In fact, unlike Francis and Leo, she personally watched the king's morals shift from good to evil overnight. Needless to say, as soon as he asked if she wanted to be a part of his personal service, she was in. She blended in immediately as well, it seemed. Among the strongest warriors and sneakiest rogues, she stood as the lone, powerful mage, inciting jealousy and envy as she quickly became the king's favorite. He calls on her for everything above everyone else.

As the member of The Faceless Ones, Esme knows the King, the Queen, Princess Cecilia, and Prince Roswell. She also knows all of the Faceless Ones by name, as there aren't many of them. She used to be a student at the Scholars of Kateria as well, so she still has connections there, too. She adores Francis Drake and ignores the envy of Leotholdus Grace. She also has a strange connection to King Bartholomew that no one seems to understand.

BROTHERHOOD OF THE SWORD

TERRYN HENRY GAVIN
user posted image
Harbringer of the Brotherhood. Therianthrope. Sixty-two. Liam Neeson.

Terryn is a colorful character, that's for sure. He looks to be the all brawn, no brain type, but don't let that fool you. He's the leader of the Brotherhood for a reason, after all. Sure, he may occassionally like a bit of reckless fun, but he isn't about to endanger his position as harbringer nor his fellow brothers under any circumstance. He knows when enough is enough and he is the first to put his foot down when he thinks things get a little out of hand.

As the leader of the Brotherhood, Terryn knows all of his fellow brothers. He has strong ties to Romana Altala and he treats her like the daughter he never had since he actually found and adopted her when she was five. He often clashes with Abel Basil, however, he also seems to treat him like a son as well. He has decent connections to Blanche Giovanna though as the two oldest members, they generally agree that they can handle themselves.

ROMANA MARIE ALTARA
user posted image
Member of the Brotherhood. Wood Elf. Sixteen. Ziyi Zhang.

Romana is the youngest member of the brotherhood and is babied because of it. She is, however, quite capable of handling herself in battle, that much is for sure. She actually ranks as one of the strongest warriors of the guild and is well-respected in Kateria for being an expert swordswoman. She isn't entirely mature, however. Emotions still get to her and fatal bounties scare her greatly. She's rarely ever seen traveling alone because of this. She was abandoned at the age of five and found by Terryn, so she considers him her father, even if he isn't.

As the member of the Brotherhood, Romana knows all of her fellow brothers. She has strong ties to Terryn Gavin and she considers him to be her father. She looks up to Abel Basil like no other, and she treats Blanche Giovanna like her mother. She usually chooses to travel with Abel Basil, actually, and she maybe has a minor, tiny little kiddie crush on him.

ABEL RONIN BASIL
user posted image
Member of the Brotherhood. Katerian. Twenty-Nine. Josh Holloway.

Abel is the wildcard of the Brotherhood. He's oftentimes the one making stupid decisions and suggesting obscene ideas. Because of this, he's usually ignored. He's not dumb by any means, though, and he can handle himself just fine, thank you very much... he just doesn't think ideas through very often. He thinks that the brotherhood deserves a stronger, younger leader as well, and he often clashes with Terryn because of this thought process.

As the member of the Brotherhood, Abel knows all of his fellow brothers. He adores Romana Altara and he treats her like a younger sister; he's entirely too protective of the girl and always volunteers to go on whatever mission she chooses to go on. He even splits his gold with her. He finds Terryn Gavin to be too overbearing and uptight and he clashes with the man regularly. As far as Blance Giovanna goes, he generally avoids her; they have an unspoken agreement, it seems, to stay out of each others way.

BLANCHE LOUISE GIOVANNA
user posted image
Member of the Brotherhood. Light Elf. Fifty. Uma Thurman.

Uma is the quiet brawn of the operation. She keeps to herself and avoids the conflict and roughhousing of the brotherhood, simply because it doesn't interest her. She's mostly in the guild for the money and the money alone, though she does secretly care for her fellow brothers, whether she'll admit it or not. Rumor has it that she's next in line for the harbringer position, though if asked about it she ignores the question altogether.

As the member of the Brotherhood, Blanche knows all of her fellow brothers. She secretly babies and adores Romana Altara like her own child, though in the public eye she tells her to toughen up and often tries to get her to be a stronger fighter. She trusts and follows Terryn Gavin wordlessly; the two have a pact, it seems, which is perhaps why he trusts her so much. She ignores and generally avoids Adel Basil.

ONYX LAMIA

BLAZH LAW COL
user posted image
Leader of Onyx Lamia. Vampire. Ageless. Alex O'Loughlin.

Blazh has been the leader of Onyx Lamia for as long as anyone can remember. Hell, he might have started the guild, no one really knows for sure. One thing they do know, however, is that he is the most ruthless man that has ever walked the land. He cares not for anyone or anything but himself and his partner in crime, Dionisia. He does, however, love gold; he will work with anyone if it guarantees a profit, which perhaps is why he is working with the King these days. He also doesn't do his own dirty work; he leaves the murdering for the other members and, specifically, for Dionisia. Rarely does he ever get his own hands dirty.

Despite being the leader of Onyx Lamia, he knows very little about the members of his guild. He meets them once or twice, sure, but he rarely converses with them. He is, however, the lover of Dionisia Eda, and he makes sure that she, above all, is well taken care of. He has strong ties to King Bartholomew and favors his son, Roswell Bennett as well. He also knows Francis Drake as both a fellow member and a respected comrade.

DIONISIA MAE EDA

Second in Command of Onyx Lamia. Vampire. Ageless. Li Bingbing.

Dionisia is the woman behind the man. She is the main assassin and, on another note, the more charismatic of the two. She handles all of the talking, all of the dirty work, and all of the recruiting. She is a very, very powerful sniper who can take out a mark with a single arrow and she, much like the rest of the Lamias, has a name that is feared among many towns. Unlike Blazh, however, she isn't in the business for the gold or fear. In fact, the only reason she joined the Lamias at all is because of her love for Blazh and her desire to follow him in whatever he chooses to do.

Dionisia, unlike Blazh, knows all of the members of Onyx Lamia. She is, after all, the recruitment officer so to speak, so in order to join the guild, prospects must confront her first. She is also Blazh Col's lover and his right hand, essentially. Her ties to the royal family aren't nearly as strong as her lover's, however, though she has met King Bartholomew and Prince Roswell on more than one occasion.

SHADOW COUNCIL

ELRIC MAXWELL HAMON
user posted image
Leader of the Shadow Council. Katerian. Fifty-Three. Jason Stantham.

Elric's morals may be questionable at best, but he's actually not a bad guy, it seems. He grew up poor, jealous, and lonely, and those feelings in him as a child never really left him. He grew up forever hungry and always envious so it really is no big surprise that he eventually joined the thieves guild. He rose in ranks, too, and eventually, when the previous leader decided to step down and start a family, he took up leadership of the guild and made it his own. Years later, despite his age, he still roams the street and finds things to steal, just because.

Being the leader and the recruiter of the Shadow Council, it comes as no surprise that Elric sees and knows every face that passes through his doors. He treats all of the members equally and shows no special connections to any of them, though rumor has it that he did adopt Jocelyn Royse when her parents died. He also knows her sister, Adelaide Benedict, and knows several of the Returners because of his connection to her.

JOCELYN ADELLA ROYSE

Member of the Shadow Council. Therianthrope. Eighteen. Abbie Cornish.

Jocelyn has a somewhat troubled past, though it wasn't always like that. In all actuality, she is Adelaide Benedict's sister and the daughter of the late Stace Royse, the former leader of the Shadow Council. Her life was normal, fine and dandy, until her parent's home was torched one night. Her sister had just departed for her eighteenth birthday and she was only twelve, herself. Alone, abandoned, and helpless, she left home and eventually ended up in the company of the new leader of the Shadow Council, Elric. He took her in and began trainer her as a thief and eventually she grew to become a skilled archer.

As a long-standing member of theShadow Council, Jocelyn knows each and every single member by name, and has a special connection to each one. She does, however, hold Elric Hamon higher than most as he was there at her time of need and adopted her as his daughter. Her usual partner in crime is Ivan Constantine; she trusts him with her life and is actually in love with him, though nothing has ever come of it. Jocelyn is the sister of Adelaide Benedict, and knows several of the Returners because of his connection to her.

Ivan was not a troubled child. He was troublesome, sure, but there was nothing in his lifetime that lead him to become a thief. It just interested him, honestly. As a new recruit, Ivan is often treated like a newbie. He rarely gets missions or quests at all, and is instead sent off to do the small-work, honestly. He's eager and excited, however, and rarely lets such things get him down.

As a new member of the Shadow Council, Ivan isn't as well acquainted with the other members as he'd like to be. He respects and admires Elric Hamon for what he is and what he's done, however, and he tells the man often. His usual partner in crime is Jocelyn Royse; he trusts her with his life and is actually in love with her, though nothing has ever come of it.

SCHOLARS OF KATERIA

GABRIEL BORIN ALTHALOS

Dean of the Scholars of Kateria. Wood Elf. Thirty-four. Matthew Fox.

Despite how young he looks, and how young he is, Gabriel is a very capable dean. He is a master of his school of magic and he dabbles quite regularly in a few others, as well. He's a very caring dean, however; his students are like children to him and he does his best to keep up the learning environment that he now leads. He isn't happy with the way magic is treated in Kateria, sure, but he also doesn't appear to be too stressed about it, since he hasn't made any strides to change things.

As the dean of the Scholars of Kateria, he knows most of the students by name, at least. He knows the royal family, specifically Queen Celeste, as he was the one who helped arrange Princess Willoh's stay, whom he gets along with well. He is unaware, however, of how corrupt the royal family has become. He is also the uncle to Thea and Theo Montfort, though he tries to avoid showing favoritism. He also favors his assistant Avery Aldebaran.

Avery is an easily excitable, awkward, optimistic young man who loves to learn more than anything else. His education is very important to him and sure, he may seem like a teacher's pet, but he's excited, okay? He's also fairly arrogant as well, and he gets into a lot of trouble easily because of it. He overestimates what he can and cannot do most of the time, though this never seems to bother him. At all. Ever.

As the assistant to the dean of the Scholars of Kateria, he knows most of the students by name. He has close ties to Gabriel Althalos and Willoh Bennett, as they are two people who not only tolerate his energy, but actually like his company. He also has a brother, Tobias Aldebaran, though he doesn't see him often.

Thea, like her twin brother, hails from a family filled with skilled mages, so its only natural that she, too, possess a fair bit of natural talent with the art. Unlike her brother, however, she isn't particularly interested in magic at all. She attends the Scholars of Kateria, sure, but only because she knew she'd suffer a great deal of separation anxiety if she was separated from Theo for an extended period of time. Because she isn't the biggest fan of magic in general, her grades aren't exactly the best. Truth be told, she'd rather be a dancer.

As a student of the Scholars of Kateria, she knows most of the students by face, at least. Her brother is Theo Montfort and she cares for him deeply; in fact, he's the only reason she attends the school at all. She's also good friends with Princess Willoh and was childhood friends with Ivan Constantine. Gabriel Althalos is her uncle.

WITCHES OF THE FLAME

WINIFRED VICTORIA WALDERON
user posted image
Leader of the Witches of the Flame. Pixie. Unknown. Mackenzie Foy.

Winifred has been around for a very, very long time, though she wasn't exhiled all too long ago. Sure, it's been a few decades or so, but in the long run it really hasn't been too much time. She still remembers what the cities of Kateria were like, and she still has living relatives in most of them. She, perhaps, is the most bitter about her situation; it had all been an accident, after all! One day, she was playing a prank on a family nearby; one thing lead to another, and the next thing she knew, their house was on fire. It wasn't something she intended to do, but that didn't stop the guards of Coda from exiling her.

As the leader of the Witches of the Flame, Winifred knows all of her followers by name, face, and by the reason they were shunned. She has strong ties to Silvester Rolendis and his sprite, Clement. She has met King Bartholomew before as well, though it wasn't really anything of interest.

First and foremost, Silvester is as innocent as innocent can be. He's so innocent, in fact, that he's often oblivious to his surroundings and to what is going on around him. With that said, it comes as no surprise that his exile was a mistake. He simply happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time; a group of necromancers happened to be wrecking havoc on the town he was staying in and while he was wandering by to go to the general store, he just so happened to be lumped into the same group as them. Truth be told, if it hadn't been for Clement, he likely would have never known that he was exiled at all. He still doesn't really seem to understand the extent of it, actually.

As the member of the Witches of the Flame, Silvester knows all of the members and since he's quite a friendly, outstanding guy, he gets along with almost all of them as well. He gets along the best with Winifred Walderon, however, if only because she seemingly took him under her wing and cares for him like a mother. He also has a sprite companion, Clement, who acts as his voice of reason; he'd be lost without her.

Despite being a member of the Witches of the Flame, Clement isn't exiled. She is free to come and go in any town in Kateria, though she simply chooses not to. She chose Silvester as a lifelong companion from the day he was born and has stuck by his side ever since; in her mind, his exile is her own as well, so she travels with him and the other Witches of the Flame. She's levelheaded and calm, which are traits that are almost necessary when you consider just who her companion really is.

As the member of the Witches of the Flame, Clement knows all of the members though she isn't nearly as close to them as Silvester and Winifred are. She respects and admires Winifred Walderon for being there for Silvester whenever he was thrown out on his own, though she is a little jealous of her, as well. Silvester Rolendis is her chosen lifelong companion and she absolutely adores him... too much, perhaps. Her biggest wish is to be with him in every aspect, despite how impossible it is.
